Liza Lorena is an awarding winning actress. Born as Elizabeth Luciano Winsett in Pampanga,she was a first runner-up in the Bb Pilipinas Pageant in 1966. She is the mother of Tonton Gutierrez to her former boyfriend Eddie Gutierrez.

She won the Best Supporting Actress Award from Luna Awards for her role in Oro, Plata, Mata. She became the leading actress of the most popular actors in the movie industry during her peak of popularity.
