ANA MARGARITA GONZALES

ANA MARGARITA GONZALES

ANA MARGARITA GONZALES is the daughter of the daughter of 1960s matinee idol and ex-politician Jose Mari Gonzalez and Charito Gonzalez. She is the younger sister of another movie actress Cristina Gonzales who is now married to Alfred Gonzales.

She married Jose Maria Fernandez Cuervo in 1999 with whom she has two children.

In 2008, she filed domestic violence against her husband.

This is the article.

Ana Margarita Gonzalez-Cuervo filed before the Muntinlupa City prosecutors office charges of violations of Republic Act 9262 (Anti Violence and Women and their Children Act) against her husband, Jose Maria Fernandez Cuervo.

The complainant is the daughter of 1960s matinee idol and ex-politician Jose Mari Gonzalez and Charito Gonzalez. Her sister is former sexy actress Christina Gonzalez now married to then-Leyte congressman Alfred Romualdez,

Also named in the complaint sheet were Montserrat Calero Fernandez Cuervo Trigo and Maria Antonia Calero Fernandez Cuervo Mendieta, her husband's sisters.

In a 12-page complaint, Ana Margarita alleged that her husband would often beat her up for no reason, force her to take pills which made her hallucinate, and eventually spirited their two children away in December 2007.

The couple got married in 1999 and had a boy and a girl. After giving birth to her daughter in 2004, Ana Margarita's marriage reportedly began to go sour.

Ana Margarita’s husband would allegedly call her a tramp, and was envious that she was earning 100 times more than him.

“He would beat me and force to take a pill, which would cause me to hallucinate, and become incoherent,” she said in her complaint.

The beatings often took place inside their house, and during one of their fights, Jose Maria allegedly beat her in the face, head and body.

Ana Margarita claimed that she often found herself in a hospital room after taking the pill, and that Jose Maria would often make her sign withdrawal slips amounting to P3 million while she was under heavy medication.

“I later discovered from my cook that she was instructed by my husband to grind some kind of white round pill to sprinkle in my fried rice for breakfast,” she added.

The complainant said she was hospitalized several times in 2007 and even placed in a rehabilitation center in Quezon City for her “supposed hallucinations.”

In December 2007, Ana Margarita was confined for hallucination at the Medical City, where she saw her two children for the last time.

She was finally able to return to their home in the village of Ayala Alabang, but found her husband and the two children missing, as well as several personal effects such as jewelry, kitchen appliances, plasma TVs and expensive children's toys.

“I discovered after asking around amongst friends that they departed for Madrid, Spain on January 30, 2008 on board flight no. TG 625, thus depriving me of custody of my children,” Ana Margarita said in her complaint.

JOBELLE SALVADOR

Jobelle Salvador is the daughter of LEROY SALVADOR AND BELLA SALVADOR. She lived in Japan in ten years.

She has two children, one with Robin Padilla named Jeremiah Joseph Leroy Salvador (Mico for short), turning 18 in June, and Jullyna Louise, six, by her former Japanese boyfriend. (Mico is a high school junior at the International Secondary School and Jullyna is in Grade One at the Azabu Fhougakkon).

Or she flies to Las Vegas to visit her mom, Bella Salvador (widow of director-producer Leroy Salvador), who lives there with the rest of Jobelle's siblings.

It has been a long-winding road to Japan . Jobelle left the Philippines in early 1990s, with Guam as first stop, mainly "to sort out Mico's papers." She got stuck for two years in Guam where she initially worked as guest relation officer of the banquet department (and later as GRO of the Galaxy Lounge) of the Pacific Star Hotel where she sang during the Happy Hours.
