Aunor carries the distinction of hosting the longest-running musical variety show in Philippine television. Her show "Superstar" ran for almost two decades.
Also known in the Philippines as "Ate Guy", she acquired a following of fans known as Noranians, whose devotion to their idol was only matched by the fans of her contemporary Vilma Santos (known as Vilmanians). Although the rivalry between Noranians and Vilmanians remained mostly friendly, there have been times when clashes occurred in the streets of Manila.
A mother of five, her marriage to another multi-awarded local actor, Christopher de Leon, was annulled in the late 1990s.
In 2002, Aunor made her first TV show in decades and her first soap opera, entitled, Bituin, opposite Philippine's premier villain, Cherie Gil, aired on ABS-CBN Broadcasting Network.
Although she retains her Philippine citizenship, Aunor has spent much of her time in recent years in California, where she has a home.
Aunor was arrested on March 30, 2005 when airport screeners at Los Angeles International Airport stopped her on her way to Oakland, California and allegedly found 7.7 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride (known in the Philippines as shabu} in her carry-on bag, and a glass pipe wrapped in a T-shirt. The day following her arrest, Aunor was released after posting a $10,000 bail. At the reading of the charge against her on April 21, she pleaded not guilty. The trial has been set for December 16, 2005.
On March 29, 2006 Aunor changed her plea to guilty to the charge of possession of a controlled substance. She entered a drug-diversion program and subsequently the criminal proceedings against her have been suspended while she is in the program. The charges against her are expected to be dropped once she completes her rehabilitation.

A handsome hunk with features that made him look a bit like the late actor Chistopher Reeve, Miguel Rodriguez gave Richard Gomez a run for his money. Actually, the two were once together in the sitcom "Palibhasa Lalake" with Joey Marquez completing the wackiness.
Miguel was leading man material, paired opposite the likes of Sharon Cuneta and Snooky Serna. In 1989, he even had three leading ladies in the movie inspired by a popular song, "Si Aida, Si Lorna o Si Fe".
Although not as in-demand in the mid-90's as he was in the late 80's, Miguel was still one of the hot guys, appearing in Dawn Zulueta starrer "The Maggie Dela Riva Story" (1994) and Kris Aquino's "Saan Ako Nagkamali" and His last movie was "Huwag Mong Isuko ang Laban" (1995).
Mstery remains to cloak the death of actor and once-upon-a-time politician Miguel Rodriguez whose to His Gunshot body was discovered last February 7, 1998 by household help inside his house in BF Homes Internal Village, Talon, Las Piñas City.Speculations are running high on the real cause of the actor's death. A certain Bernadette Puno, who claimed to be a cousin of Rodriguez, said the actor died due to "collapsed pancreas."

JUDY ANN SANTOS
Her name is Judy Anne Lumagui, better known by her screen name Judy Ann Santos. She was born on May 11, 1978.
She starred in the GMA's tearjerker Kaming Mga Ulila directed by Argel Joseph in 1986. She also starred in the soap opera headliner in IBC-13's Ula, Ang Batang Gubat.
She appeared as child star in Mother Lily's Regal Films and other independent film outfits.
It was in Mara Clara where she gained popularity with Glady Reyes as the villainess.
It lasted for five years and produced the Juday-Wowie tandem.
Juday's first lead movie role under the direction of Boots Plata, Star Cinema finally took notice and offered Juday her first movie under the production outfit - appropriately a movie version of Mara Clara was a hit.
When ABS-CBN wanted to start featuring young artists as headliners in their Star Drama Theater Presents anthology, Juday was the pioneer. To this day, she holds the distinction of being the only young star that was featured three times (four episodes each). In 1999, Juday was given her own Judy Ann Drama Special anthology after Esperanza ended. Despite the word drama in the title, she actually tackled a variety of roles, shifting from drama to comedy to action to horror to fantasy and back to drama.
Juday is a four-time recipient of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation award.
Her love tandem with Wowie de Guzman produced 12 films. Rico Yan also became a screen partner but not for long.
In Esperanza, the new love team of Piolo Pascual was born.
Juday continued to enjoy the best of both worlds. She became a most-sought after leading lady - teaming up with the likes of Mark Anthony Fernandez (1997's Ako Ba Ang Nasa Puso MO? directed by Jose Javier Reyes), Jao Mapa (1997's Babae directed by Lupita Kashiwahara), Onemig Bondoc (1998's I’m Sorry My Love directed by then first-time filmmaker Joyce Bernal), Carlo Munoz (2001's Luv Txt directed by Rowell Santiago), Bong Revilla (2000's Minsan Ko Lang Sasabihin directed by Danilo P. Cabreira) and Cesar Montano (1997's Sanggano directed by Toto Natividad). She also became the other-half of another love team. After a supporting role in 1999's Metro Manila Film Festival entry Esperanza directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng, Piolo Pascual earned leading man status together with Leandro Munoz in Kahit Isang Saglit (2000, directed by Gilbert Perez). Sans a love triangle, it was just Juday and Piolo sweating it out in the boxing ring of love in Bakit 'Di Totohanin (2001, directed by Boots Plata). Both movies passed the 100 Million peso mark despite the prevailing industry slump back then.
Nobyo niya si Ryan Agoncillo at balak nilang magpakasal sa madaling panahon.
