She appeared in Tulisang Pugot (with Fred Montilla), Ang Kasaysayan ni Rudy Concepcion and Texas, Ang Manok na Nagsasalita which we all produced by Sampaguita Pictures. She also appeared in Rosalinda (with Rodolfo Ruiz), whose main story was story based on the recording and radio industry as produced by Philippine Artists' Management.

Veteran radio/theater/TV/movie actress Tita Muñoz died of heart failure at 6:10 night, in April 11, 2009. She was 82.

Maria Teresa in real life, Tita was among the pioneer radio talents. She starred in several stage plays and Hollywood-produced films including Flight of the Sparrow.

Even after she suffered a stroke several years ago, Tita continued to appear in movies and TV shows.

Her remains have been cremated. The wake will be held at the Sampaguita Chapel of the Funeraria Paz at the Manila Memorial Park in Sucat, Parañaque City, until Tuesday, April 14. A necrological Mass will be held tonight at 7 o’clock.

Tita is survived by brothers Rafael and Cayetano, sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews including the Muñoz actor-brothers Leandro, Carlo and Angelo (sons of Tita’s late younger brother Louie) who are now based in the States.
